Description
A concentrated powdered vitamin supplement containing all 13 essential vitamins plus iodine, soluble in water or mixable into food. Lafeber position it as support during sickness and stress. Two measuring scoops come in the bottle.
One thing to get straight first. If your bird is already eating a complete formulated diet — pellets, Nutri-Berries, Avi-Cakes — it is getting a balanced vitamin and mineral profile already, and adding more on top can do harm rather than good. Oversupplementation of the fat-soluble vitamins, A and D3 in particular, is a real clinical problem in pet birds. Ask your avian vet before you start.
Where it earns its place is with a bird on a seed diet, a bird under veterinary care, or one going through the stress of illness, moulting or breeding — on a vet's advice.

Make the water solution up fresh every day — a vitamin solution left standing in a warm cage is a bacterial culture by evening. Keep the container closed and store below 72°F at low humidity.

Questions we get asked
My bird is on pellets. Do I need this?
Almost certainly not, and it may do harm. A formulated diet is already balanced.
My bird is on a seed mix.
Then it is likely short of several vitamins — but the better fix is moving it onto a formulated diet. Use this as support while you do, with your vet's agreement.
Water or food?
Food is more reliable: a bird that dislikes the taste of dosed water may simply drink less, which is worse than no vitamins at all. Mix it into food the bird will finish.
Which size?
1.25 oz for one or two birds. 12 oz for a breeding set-up or a rescue.
