Morning Bird Breeding Season Supplements

Breeding condition is built before the season starts, not during it. Both of these are fed on the same window — from three weeks before pairing until the first egg is laid — and both are conditioning supplements rather than year-round products.

Breeders Blend — 1.5 oz

A high-potency, protein-fortified powder carrying all 17 essential vitamins and minerals. Morning Bird formulate it to support fertility, egg quality and chick vigour, and to help birds through the physiological demand of a breeding cycle.

Ingredients: whey protein concentrate, corn maltodextrin, vitamins A, D3 and E, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, folic acid, biotin, B12, iron, copper, manganese and zinc.

Nesting Nudge — 2 oz

A fertility-focused formula built around L-arginine, L-carnitine and vitamin E. Morning Bird cite sperm quality, hormonal regulation, laying energy and embryo development as the targets. It sits alongside Breeders Blend rather than replacing it.

Ingredients: corn maltodextrin, L-arginine, L-carnitine, vitamins A, D3, E and K3, B-complex, iron, copper, manganese and zinc.

Dosing — both products

In water: ¼ teaspoon per ounce, changed daily. Or in food: ⅛ teaspoon for a small bird up to 1 teaspoon for an extra-large one. One method, not both.

Feed daily from three weeks before breeding through to the first egg.

Do not stack them with a multivitamin

Morning Bird are explicit: do not combine either with other vitamin supplements. Both already contain a full vitamin pack, and adding a second one on top is how a bird ends up with too much vitamin A or D3 — which does real harm, unlike being slightly short.

If you are already feeding Hearty Bird or Feather Fast, stop those while these are in use.

Before you breed

Breeding birds is a serious undertaking and a supplement is the easiest part of it. A hen in poor condition, an unsuitable pair, or a nest box in the wrong place will cause problems no powder solves. If you have a hen laying repeatedly without a mate, that is a health problem rather than a breeding opportunity — see an avian vet, and do not feed a conditioning supplement that encourages more of it.

Cautions

Not for human consumption. Keep away from children. Not for birds kept for meat or egg consumption. Store cool, dark and dry.
