Morning Bird Daily Vitamins & Recovery Support

Three powders for three different situations. Only one of them is an everyday product.

Hearty Bird — the everyday one

Morning Bird's all-round multivitamin and multimineral for healthy adult birds: 17 essential vitamins and minerals. B vitamins for energy and metabolism, C and E for immune support, D3 and trace minerals for bone and eggshell strength, A and B-complex for feather condition, iron and copper for blood.

This is the baseline. The other two are situational.

Daily, year-round, adult birds. In water: ¼ teaspoon per ounce, changed daily. Or in food: ⅛ teaspoon (small) to 1 teaspoon (extra-large).

Thrive — for a bird that is run down

Protein, vitamins, minerals and electrolytes in one powder, at 20% minimum protein. The premise is nutritional: a bird that is unwell or recovering stops eating properly and depletes its reserves quickly, and this replaces them in a concentrated form. Targets appetite, energy, rehydration and electrolyte balance.

This is nutritional support, not treatment. It does not address whatever is making your bird unwell. A bird that is sick needs an avian vet — birds hide illness until they are very ill indeed, and by the time you can see it, time matters. Use this alongside veterinary care, never instead of it.

In water: ¼ teaspoon per ounce, changed daily. In food: ⅛ to 1 teaspoon by bird size. Or made into a paste and given by crop: ¼ teaspoon per ounce of body weight.

Vitalize — for performance and stress

Built around DMG (dimethylglycine) for oxygen utilisation, dual electrolytes for rehydration, B-complex for the nervous system and vitamin C as an antioxidant. Aimed at racing, flighted and show birds, and at any bird under strain from travel, competition or a change of environment.

This formula now combines what Morning Bird previously sold as Vitalize and as their Immune System Booster.

The rule that applies to all three

Do not use them together, and do not use any of them alongside another vitamin supplement. Each carries a full vitamin pack. Stacking them risks oversupplementing the fat-soluble vitamins, particularly A and D3, which causes real problems — unlike a mild shortfall, which usually does not.
