Will my bird actually sit on it? Many do. Give it a few days — birds tend to chew first and perch once they trust it.

Is the bounce too much for a nervous bird? Hang it in a quieter corner of the cage at first. Nervous birds usually come round once they have watched it for a day or two.

How much clearance does it need? Leave room on all sides so it can move freely — that is the whole point of the design.
