Is it noisy? No. This is one of the quietest toys in the range — worth knowing if your bird lives in a shared room or an apartment.

Good for a plucking bird? Shredding toys are a standard part of redirecting that behaviour. They are not a cure, but giving a bird something legitimate to destroy is one of the first things most avian vets suggest alongside a proper workup.

Does the fringe tangle? It can loosen as the bird works it. That is normal and part of how it shreds.

The Firecracker is at its best with a little clearance around it so the fringe swings. Hang it away from the cage wall rather than flush against it.
